Welcome to what my dreams are made of. Just a casual Wednesday hanging out in High Park in the most whimsical set up a boho babe could dream of with a group of amazing girls, henna, flowy dresses, and stacks of beautiful handmade jewels.
Anice Jewellery was first opened here in Toronto by the radest chick Brittany Hopkins. Her obsession and dedication to designing jewellery is for her grandmother Anice, who inspired all of her creations making what she does that much more special <3.
My good friend Katie (who also modeled/works at Anice/and is a stylist) reached out to me asking if I wanted to be a part of their next shoot. Lately I’ve been going through a really tough time with a big change happening in my life. I don’t know about you guys but when I’m sad all I want to do is stay in bed and hide from the world. After pushing myself to go, I can 100% say that it is so important to force yourself to do the things you love, even when it seems like it’s the last thing you want to do.
Britt told Katie and I to look for “the big dreamy looking thing” in the park when we got there. Eventually after roaming around the park “the big dreamy looking thing” was easily spotted. I’ve alway wanted to create a cute little set up like this one in my backyard, so it was a dream come true.
All Anice jewels are handcrafted and made with so much love. Britt had a blanket laid out with all of her recent creations and designs. I love seeing people succeed at what they do and have what they envision come to life. If you’re in the Toronto area or ever visiting make sure to check out her whimsical boutique located at 102 Ossington Avenue.
Do the things you love, create with every inch of your soul, and surround yourself with the best kind of humans.
Love,
Luna
